2017 Creative Project – My Sunday Seven

2017 Creative Project – My Sunday Seven

So this year – I decided to nix a New Year’s resolution for 2017.  I’ve decided, instead, to work on a creative project.  I thought about a few different ideas, but in the end, decided what really called to me was a photography challenge.  You can read my blog post about it on the Columbus Mom’s Blog – here’s a link: http://columbus.citymomsblog.com/activities/forget-a-new-years-resolution-heres-what-im-doing-instead/

I’m not one for following traditional challenges, or rules, so instead of something rigid like a project 365, I’m going to try for something a bit easier for me to manage.  To keep myself accountable, I’ll be posting some pictures every Sunday.  Seven.  Will I take one each day?  Will I take them all on Sunday?  Who knows.  In all honesty, maybe I’ll post on a Saturday.  Or a Monday.  I’ll give it my best shot to post on a Sunday, but, I’m realistic and this is supposed to be for fun!  Without further ado – here is my FIRST Sunday Seven of 2017!

Christmas morning breakfast. I found the BEST way to make light, airy, and crispy waffles. The trick is separating the egg whites and then folding them gently back into the batter. Served with a fresh blueberry compote and homemade whipped cream. Yum.
Christmas morning treats. I just love how he holds his treat between his paws.
I love baking and gifting cookies at Christmas, but I usually make too many. This year I just made my four favorites – walnut snowballs, raspberry-almond thumbprints, walnut rugelach, and iced cut-outs!

I'm social!
