One of my favorite things about starting this blog has been all the amazing people I’ve met as a result. I’ve met writers and travelers from all around the world!
Recently, I met Sabrina.
She writes the blog Keya’s World
Her beautifully illustrated blog gives us a peak into her creative mind. She describes the mind of a creative in the most delightful way! She says it’s kind of like “having browser with 2,857 tabs open all the time.” Hmm…that’s certainly something I can identify with!
Sabrina lives in Germany and we connected when she found my blog post about my adventures with the Naked German.
First, she assured me that not all Germans walk around naked. (To be fair, I already knew this – my husband is German, after all!) Then, she introduced me to her blog. She loves to travel as much as I do, and where I tend to write about my experiences, she sketches what she see.
Unfortunately, she had to postpone a trip she was anticipating due to a work conflict and besides being sad about not being able to travel, she was also itching to sketch some new things. When she reached out and asked if she could borrow some of my travel memories, I wasn’t quite sure what she meant but knowing how disappointed I’d be if one of my trips were delayed, I happily said yes.
Imagine my surprise when she sent me this beautiful sketch, inspired by my recent trip to Ireland.
Such a beautiful surprise and a wonderful gift! I just love it! If you’d like to see the rest of her work, be sure to check out the rest of her borrowed memories!
What a lovely gift! One of the best parts about blogging is how much you learn about other people and other places. <3
