Ingredients

  • 4 Hard boiled eggs, with shell on
  • Food coloring
  • 1/2 Jalapeno, sliced
  • 1/2 Jalapeno, minced
  • 2 tbsp Mayo (or sub plain yogurt)
  • 2 tsp Prepared yellow mustard
  • 2 tsp Dill relish
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp Sriracha
  • Paprika, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Roll the eggs around on the counter until the shells are cracked but still attached to the shell.

  2. Fill a small bowl with water, and add a few drops of your food coloring.

  3. Place eggs in the colored water and let them hang out for a while. I used this time to pour some more wine and make sure my little "wildling" was still asleep. If you have the time, at least 20 minutes of soaking time is best.

  4. Once they've soaked, use a spoon to fish out the egg. Remove the shell. Admire your dragon eggs.

  5. Slice eggs in half and scoop out the yolks. Add yolks to a small bowl.

  6. Place mayo, mustard, relish, hot sauce, black pepper, salt, and minced jalapeƱos into the bowl and mix well.

  7. Spoon mixture into eggs and garnish with paprika and sliced jalapeƱos.
