I love this easy Instant Pot ham dinner because it uses simple ingredients that my family already loves – ham, green beans and potatoes and some basic spices. No fancy ingredients here and even the pickiest eaters love this Instant Pot ham dinner.
Ham, green beans and potatoes go so well together, and when you’re able to toss them into a pressure cooker, it makes getting dinner on the table a breeze.
And we all need more easy dinners.
To be honest, the hardest part of this easy Instant Pot Ham dinner is the time it takes to trim the beans.

Easy Instant Pot Ham Dinner
Even the measurements in this Instant Pot ham dinner are easy – I used 1 pound of green beans, 1 pound of small red potatoes, and 1 pound of leftover ham. Along with some diced onion, simply toss the ham, green beans and potatoes in the Instant Pot, sprinkle on the spices, and go grab a glass of wine while the Instant Pot does all the cooking for you.
Easy Instant Pot Ham Dinner
This easy Instant Pot Ham Dinner uses leftover ham, green beans, potatoes in the the Instant Pot along with some simple spices to make the BEST leftover ham recipe that your family will LOVE!
Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 small white onion, diced (about 1/2 cup)
- 1 lb red potatoes, sliced in half
- 1 lb ham, cut into chunks
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- fresh cracked pepper
- 1 cup stock (or water)
Instructions

Place green beans in Instant Pot.

Add the diced onion over the green beans.

Top with red potatoes.

Sprinkle salt, garlic powder, and freshly cracked pepper on top of the potatoes.

Top potatoes with chunks of ham.

Add 1 cup of stock to the pot.

Using manual pressure, set Instant Pot timer to cook to for 5 minutes. Once it's finished cooking, let pressure naturally release for 20 minutes. If pressure has not completely been released after 20 minutes, quick release the remaining pressure. Enjoy!
