It’s no secret that I love traveling and exploring, but there’s something to be said for putting down roots. And there is no better place to root yourself than Columbus, Ohio. I know that’s a bold statement, and I stand by it anyway.
As much as it thrills me to board an airplane for somewhere yet unexplored, there’s a profound sense of gratitude when I land in Port Columbus. I’m so grateful I get to call this city my home.
Buckeyes are friendly, interesting, and deeply loyal. (Just visit on a Saturday in fall and watch how the city “bleeds” scarlet and gray!)
From an amazing food & craft cocktail scene, to being the #1 startup city in America – we have something for everyone. Interesting neighborhoods to explore, artisans on every corner, and more restaurants and bars than I can sample in my lifetime (although that won’t stop me from trying!)
Columbus is a great place to raise a family. Affordable housing, access to high quality food & farmer’s markets, and so many things to do that my friend Julie has a blog dedicated to helping parents figure out what to do each day.
And as I’ve made Columbus my home, I feel a responsibility to connect with and support this vibrant community. I’ll be sharing my stories about the local people, places, and food in this fantastic city.
